Payments
All types of payments in Bulgaria and abroad — in euro and in foreign currency.
The Bank receives payments in favour of its clients from Bulgarian and foreign banks worldwide and executes payment orders to other banks, as well as intrabank payments. Payment orders are accepted at the counter in the offices and business centres or electronically — through online and mobile banking. Execution takes into account the reachability of the payee’s payment service provider in the respective systems, including for instant euro transfers BLINK (SEPA INST).

SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) covers the payment service providers of all EU and EEA countries, as well as Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, the Vatican and others.

- Verification of Payee (VoP) service
For all ordered payments in euro the Bank offers a check whether the payee’s IBAN matches the payee’s name — before the transfer is confirmed. This way discrepancies are detected in time and fraud and errors are avoided. The service is available at the counter and through online and mobile banking, including for intrabank transfers in euro.
- Documentary letters of credit, collections and bank guarantees
For import: documentary letters of credit based on credit lines or blocked funds; documentary collections; all types of bank guarantees.
For export: advising and consultation on letters of credit with preliminary review of documents; documentary collections; advising of bank guarantees with assistance in filing a claim for payment.
Bank guarantees: for good performance, for payment, for advance payment, for participation in a tender, for warranty obligations and others — via SWIFT or as an official letter, in Bulgarian and English. The Bank offers consultations and sample texts.
