Municipal Bank now offers dual visualization of values in BGN and EUR both in Internet banking and in its mobile application MB-mobile. The introduction of this functionality is part of the Bank's active preparation for adopting euro as the official currency in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Already in March 2025. dual visualization was successfully implemented in Municipal Bank internet banking. Since the beginning of June, the functionality is now also available in the mobile application MB-mobile. The Бank is among the first banks in the country to introduce dual visualization both on the Internet and in its mobile banking. With this step, the Bank confirms its aspiration to provide accessible, timely and transparent information to its customers about its accounts and transactions.
The dual visualization presents the BGN amounts with their expression in euros, calculated at the fixed exchange rate of the Bulgarian National Bank - BGN 1.95583 for 1 euro, according to the provisions of the Law on the adoption of the euro in the Republic of Bulgaria. All values ??in euro are rounded to the second decimal place in accordance with regulatory requirements.
To be able to use the mobile banking functionality, the customers should update the MB-mobile application to the latest version.
