Municipal Bank signed on 23 October 2015 the loan agreement with Fund for Local Authorities and Governments for 14 000 000 Levas. The funds will be used for supporting the activities of the Fund connected with granting funding to implement the municipal projects co-financed by the EU. Municipal Bank offered the best conditions for the announced public procurement.

The Fund for Local Authorities and Governments in Bulgaria - FLAG was founded in 2007 as an instrument of government policy for the regional development. The mission of the Fund is to support the efforts of Bulgarian municipalities, NGOs or associations of municipalities, companies with municipal or mixed state-municipal participation in the process of preparation and successful execution of projects under the operational programs (OPs), which are aimed at modernization and expansion of municipal infrastructure and to create sustainable and modern communities.
