25.02.2014No Commissions for Payment of Local Taxes and Fees to Sofia Municipality Only in Municipal Bank

Sofia citizens have the opportunity to pay local taxes and fees at counter of Municipal Bank during the period from 1 March up to and including 31 March without paying wire transfer commissions. These promotional terms and conditions apply specifically for two types of obligations: Property Tax and Household Waste Fee due, and only if paid at Municipal Bank. After this period the bank’s commission will also be lower than last year’s.
For customer convenience, Municipal Bank offers several ways to pay municipal tax liabilities FREE OF CHARGES AND COMMISSIONS. One option is paying in cash at accounts of Sofia Municipality with the bank. Another option is paying via MasterCard, Maestro, VISA and nationwide access bank cards issued by banks in the country, using POS terminals installed in the respective Local Taxes and Fees Unit at Sofia Municipality. Payment can also be made via virtual POS at the website of Sofia Municipality (http://www.sofia.bg/).
