Municipal Bank was placed 7th in the prestigious ranking of Best Bank of 2012. This is the first time the financial institution has entered the Bulgarian top ten banks announced by the prestigious Capital Weekly economic magazine.
Municipal Bank was among the top banks by Sustainability and Dynamics and Efficiency and Profitability indicators and with a very good score by the Stability and Risk and Size parameters.
“The good ranking and assessment of Municipal Bank are fully deserved. They reflect the outcome of the professional and systematic work of the management team which succeeded not only to modernize and restructure the bank, but also improve and stabilize its market positions and contributed to a sustainable and dynamic growth. This success, however, is not a single act, and the bank’s team must continue to work in future ever so strategically and purposefully so as to maintain the upward trend,” Sasho Tchakalski, Chairman of the Management Board and Executive Director of Municipal Bank said.
