26.10.2009Municipal Bank PLC Increases Its Share Capital to BGN 35.1 mln.

A decision was taken on an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting of Municipal Bank AD on 23.10.2009 to increase the Bank’s share capital by BGN 10,100,000 through a new issue of 1,010,000 nominal book-entry voting shares of BGN 10 par value each. This will increase the Bank’s share capital to BGN 35.1 million from BGN 25 million. The subscription term of the new issue and for proportionally paying up the subscribed shares shall be six months as of the publishing of the invitation to the shareholders in the Commercial Register.
The increase in Municipal Bank AD’s share capital will increase its capital adequacy, ensure the development of its activities and the increase in its market shares.
