04.03.2015Only in Municipal Bank: No Commission for Payment of Sofia Local Taxes and Fees

Individuals and companies may from 1 March to 31 March 2015 pay in cash the amounts due to Sofia Municipality for Property Tax and Solid Household Waste Fee at the outlets of Municipal Bank free of charge.
The commissions charged for making cash transfers of taxes and fees due at the accounts of Sofia Municipality from 1 April 2015 to 31 December 2015 will be reduced.
This is the second year in a row Municipal Bank has provided this free service. “In 2014, many residents of Sofia took advantage of the promotional terms of the bank and easily and conveniently paid their obligations to the local administration,” the bank said.
Municipal Bank allows free of charge cashless payment of the two types of obligations to Sofia Municipality, using bank cards vis POS terminals installed in the district Local Taxes and Fees Departments or through the virtual POS at the website Sofia Municipality.
Individuals may ask for the amount of their tax liabilities at the respective departments of Local Taxes and Fees Revenues and Administration Directorate at Sofia Municipality, or get an electronic statement on taxes and fees due at the website of Sofia Municipality - www.sofia.bg.
