75% of people prefer consumer loans in BGN 

Municipal Bank has extended the promotional terms for consumer loans in BGN and EUR. No investigation and analysis fees and commissions will be charged when applying for a loan. The promotion will be effective for all types of consumer loan and will be in force from 10 July to 10 October for all branches of Municipal Bank in the country.
"Many people have taken advantage of the flexible terms of the promotion of Municipal Bank in the spring. At the height of summer, customers continue to actively seek preferential opportunities and we provide them. We strive to adequately and timely respond to customer needs and to develop Municipal Bank AD as a modern, market-oriented company," Ivanka Popova, Deputy Chairperson of Municipal Bank said.
Investigation and analysis fees and commissions vary from 20 to 500 levs in different banks. This amount is significant for many people seeking promotional offers, especially in the summer months of seasonal spending. Consumer loans are mostly taken because of the necessity for quick cash for pressing needs – trips planned in the summer holidays, repairs, weddings, buying furniture or a car. Nearly 75% of people prefer borrowing in BGN, not in EUR, due to the greater convenience of paying in the Bulgarian currency, the financial institution has found.
